The bundles already hiding in your Shopify order data
Your best bundles are not a guess. They are sitting in your order history, in the products your customers already buy together. Here is how to find them.
xbundle Team
@ismaylouleMost merchants build bundles the same way: they sit down, stare at the catalog, and try to guess which products go together. Then they set a discount, hope it lands, and move on. Some of those bundles work. Most do not.
There is a better starting point, and you already own it. It is your order history.
Every order is a vote
Each order in your store is a small piece of evidence about what your customers actually want together. One shopper buys a serum and a cleanser. Another buys the same pair. A third adds a moisturizer. Multiply that across thousands of orders and a pattern appears: certain products travel together far more often than chance would explain.
Those repeat combinations are your highest confidence bundles. They are not a hunch. They are what real buyers have already chosen, with their own money, again and again.
Why most stores never find them
The patterns are there, but digging them out by hand is slow and tedious. You would need to export your orders, line up every pair of products, count how often each pair appears together, and weigh that against how often each product sells on its own. By the time you finish, the catalog has changed and the season has moved on.
So the data sits untouched, and bundles get built on guesswork instead.
What to look for
If you want to do it manually, start here:
- Pairs that repeat. Two products that show up in the same order far more often than either sells alone. These make a strong Fixed bundle or a Frequently Bought Together offer.
- The natural add on. A small, cheap item that often rides along with a larger purchase. Perfect for a one click cross sell on the product page.
- The restock rhythm. Products people buy in twos and threes. A multipack with a buy more save more tier turns that habit into a bigger order.
- The starter set. The three or four items a first time buyer almost always ends up with. Sold together as a kit, it lifts the very first order.
Let the data build the bundle
This is the exact work xbundle does for you. It reads your real Shopify order history, finds the products your customers already buy together, and turns those patterns into ready bundles, with a suggested type and a discount that protects your margin. You see what it found and why, then approve it in a click.
You are not guessing anymore. You are selling the bundles your own customers already told you they want.
